Like yesterday, like last week, like last few years. Swells satiated with nostalgia never found a wharf. With every tide, that youngster's hopes grow for some minutes before collapsing at the edge of the horizon. Have they passed that line? Or have they conceded due to fear of not being welcomed? He wonders and ponders, but his enthusiasm never lessens. he is a hallower of a long-gone past, of pleasant memories signed by smiles that he misses, and by relief that he lacks. His heart refuses to rest, like a traveler riding waves through the sea, looking for a lost treasure in the unknown. He wishes to find it; he believes he will. He imagines himself on a ship's deck, sailing the sweetest journey home. At arrival, he would get off board and take that side-road leading to an archaic cottage; his heart beats would increase with every step forward, and his skin would be the only barrier preventing them from bursting. His worry of being thrown out to oblivion corresponds his longing. Will that road remember his pace? Will that house recognize his face? Just there, he would feel the warmth of once; just there he would quench the thirst that has converged throughout years. He would finally free the chunk that has tangled his spirit, and breathing would suddenly appeal to him, after few times he wished he could quit it.

wafaa.

Stunning understanding of his facts.
an art of work. Hopefully welcoming be as his longing.

hopefully, hopefully :)

Wafaa, as always your writing speaks to me in a profound way. It's difficult for me to explain what I feel when I read your words most times, it's almost like they touch something deep and unexplored in myself.

You have a wonderful gift. This is simply beautiful. Certain lines of this are amazing but my words can not do them justice!

God bless and have a wonderful weekend.

Hey Colleen,
Thanks for your lovely words, always welcomed to read indeed. I miss reading your posts, to say the truth, I haven't checked in for some time now, but I will soon :)

take care
